The Brooke Pakistan Program Interventions cover 32 Districts in three provinces of the country with the support of 32 community equine welfare teams (CEWT) and 5 equine welfare centers (EWC) through direct operations and working in partnership with government and non-government organizations, aims to bring about sustainable improvement in the welfare of working equines in the poorest communities.

The Brooke began working in Pakistan on  1st June 1991 setting up mobile clinics in the Peshawar region led by Colonel Khushwaquat-ul-Mulk.  The first 24hour static clinic was opened in Peshawar in April 1994. We have expanded over the years to work in 32 districts across Pakistan.
