1. Internal Audit & Compliance Officer:
Brooke Hospital for Animals (Pakistan) a nonprofit organization working for the welfare of equine animals is looking to recruit “Internal Audit and Compliance Officer” to join their team
Qualification, Knowledge Experience and Skills
A minimum of 4 years post qualification hands-on relevant experience in social/development sector, especially working with foreign funded NGOs. Candidate must have a strong grip on IFRS and accounting standards. Knowledge of SAP or other ERP system is desirable. The candidate should be CA (Finalist)/ ACCA/ CIA and ACMA/CMA from HEC recognized university.
The Compliance Officer will ensure donor-funded programs implemented by the organization are compliant to the relevant donor requirements and rules and regulations of the land.
He/she will exercise a significant level of responsibility for the provision of accurate, professional and timely compliance and audit related services, including risk and compliance management, internal control frameworks, systems and processes and business continuity management. Provide expert advice, support and recommendations to management and staff on a range of complex compliance, audit and risk management matters, in accordance with established Brooke Pakistan policies and procedures, legislative requirements and professional standards.

2. Advocacy Manager:
The Advocacy manager will be responsible for advocating on Brooke Pakistan’s priority issues, with a primary focus on welfare of equine animals and establishes equine animal’s access to relevant legislation and policies needed to harness vital veterinary care and protection. Highlight role of Working Equids in human development including food security to secure allocation of funds and resources for the welfare of working equines. The incumbent will lead and coordinate the implementation of the organization’s exciting policy and advocacy agenda at the national and regional levels, but also to engage in global level advocacy.
Master degree in a relevant field e.g. International Development; Politics, International Relations; Marketing and Law is desirable. This exciting role is aimed at a professional with a minimum of 4 years proven experience in an advocacy focused role.
